IDC was founded in 1999 with the financial support of Eksimbank of Japan, Irkitsk city and Irkutsk regional administration. In only 5 years of work it became one of the best five medical organizations in Russia.

IDC is 374 employees, 132 of which are doctors. IDC contains 8 medical-diagnostic departments - Ultrasound, Radiology, Endoscopy, Functional Diagnostics, Laboratory, Phatomorphology and Cytologic, Consulting (or Policlinic), and Short-Stay Hospital.

IDC applys 1000 various medical-diagnostic methods, 253 of wich are unique for the Irkutsk region. Every day Irkutsk Diagnostic Center serves about 1500 patients from Irkutsk city, Irkutsk region, other regions of Russian Federation, China, Mongolia, and other countries.

IDC is equipped with the most modern medical dignostic equipment from leading German, Japanese, American, and Swiss producers, which allows us to provide the highest quality medical-diagnostic service. IDC medical records coerrespond to the world standards and are accepted by any clinic of Russina Federation and other countries.

Irkutsk diagnostic Center has the unique medical information system, which contains all necessary information about each of the patient and their records, including graphic and text formats. All data is stored for unlimitied period. IDC medical departments have an access to medical records of the patient at any time. Today our medical system contains about 300 000 medical records.

IDC has two telecommunication channels - fibre-optical and stallite that allows us to organize videoseminars through the protected regional net with the cities of the region, Internet (any city if the country) and ISDN.

Moreover, we can conduct medical consultations between medical organization of the region through the social regional net (IP connection) and telemedical terminals in Moscow and other countries usinf any other suitable channel. Irkutsk regional center of the telemdicine coordinates telemedical activity in the region, releiving regional hospitals from the expenses for the highcosting equipment.

On this slide you can see the statistics of the telemedical consultations. Please pay attantion to the 4% of the consultations performed with other countries. Our purpose is to increase the share of consultation with German hospitals.
